How Eastern Bee LLC Got Started
The idea for Eastern Bee LLC began when Karen Thomas, our founder, was in grad school at LSU. There, Karen was torn between volunteering with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office and her studies in science and technology.
After graduation, she worked as IT project manager for NASA for almost twenty years leading cybersecurity and infrastructure projects.
Her desire to help the community returned and Karen became a volunteer EMT for Fairfax County Virginia riding ambulances at night and on weekends.
After moving to Virginia Beach, Virginia, Karen founded Eastern Bee LLC in 2022.
She’s helping small business like yours become resilient against the ever-evolving, ever-changing risks to your data integrity and tech operations.
